Use the form below to suggest a website url to be included with the Q.P.A CSE. Your email won’t be given to a third party. See our Privacy Policy. I will personally check out the website before entering it into the CSE search script. Ideal would be if you suggest authoritative music sites with low search engine ranking. By adding such you create an opportunity helping users to find essential relevant results otherwise hard to come by. And vice verse, those web sites will find new users. However, your suggestions are welcome and will be seriously considered. See the list of sites already included at the bottom of this page,

Briefly about our CSE
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Google Custom Search Engine (CSE) is a script that searches desired sites. The result page can then be set (by the web master) to be either on our site or on the CSE home page at Google. The script we use searches FIRST a selection of music related sites before the rest of the web. This is the reason for the music buff searching here rather than at Googles ordinary search pages.
You are welcome to help make this search engine better. “Better” in this context would be to add more relevant sites to the already existing list and thereby creating a very useful search option for music interested users. The sites added so far reflect mainly electronic music and offspring subjects to this specific genre. But the intension is to make the music searches more broad. In short: Your input is very welcome.

How to become an active (Google registered) CSE volunteer
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
How to volunteer? To begin with copy or bookmark the url to the site you want to add. Just in case, so you have it handy when it comes to the magic moment of pasting it into the right text field. Then you want to follow this link to “Volunteer to Improve Q’s Music Search CSE” .
Now the tricky bit:

When you volunteer, you’ll be taken to the Coop signup page unless you already are a known member. New volunteers need to sign up for Google Coop; sorry but you have to. It’s a short one time procedure and it’s free.
Please make sure to give yourself a name and a location in the Coop profile – it’s not a requirement but we at Qubenzis.com wish you to. You may use any name you like, as such it’s not important. But, without this requirement, we’d have no way to remove those who might spam.

Once you volunteer, you need to be approved. Usually within a day (unless we’re offline) and is automatic if you provide a name and a location since we really won’t know much about you.
As a volunteer you can both add sites and recommend EXCLUSION of sites. Please be fair if recommending exclusions. Remember that somebody actually suggested the site in the first place for some reason or other.
On the other hand, if you sense we’re spammed with content garbage and commercial sites your warning(s) will of course be taken serious. If a volunteer is deleted from the CSE all his/hers recommendations are too.
“Too much spam will make CSEs worthless” quote Tom Evslin.
We would be tremendously super pleased if you volunteered to Q’s Music Search CSE
Additionally I want to thank the Blog Fractals of Change, author Tom Evslin. The discussion I came across impressed me with its certain clearness in explaining how to set up a Google CSE. A true “nerd to nerd” experience. This post is basically a brief rewrite of Tom Evslin’s more detailed (and educated) explanation which can be read here | Fractals of Change: CSE |
